Are you ready to drive innovation, collaboration, and impact? CARE Cambodia is seeking a visionary leader to serve as our next Country Program Representative (CPR).

As CPR, you will lead a strategic shift in CARE Cambodia’s operations, transitioning from a conventional INGO model to a dynamic, future-oriented platform. This is your opportunity to create and implement innovative solutions that address critical social challenges, with a special focus on women, youth, decent work, and climate resilience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Shape and implement CARE Cambodia’s country strategy aligned with national priorities and CARE’s global mission.
    • Champion the use of emerging technologies, systems thinking, and innovative approaches to maximize program impact.
    • Foster partnerships with diverse stakeholders, including social enterprises, startups, private sector organizations, and government agencies.
  • Partnerships and Resource Mobilization:
    • Unlock non-traditional funding sources and design innovative financing models.
    • Build and maintain relationships with donors, businesses, and multilateral agencies to secure sustainable funding streams.
    • Promote local ownership of initiatives and empower partners for long-term impact.
  • Representation and Advocacy:
    • Serve as the face of CARE Cambodia in high-level forums, advocating for policies aligned with CARE’s mission.
    • Ensure timely and quality reporting to donors, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Program and Team Management:
    • Oversee the development and execution of high-impact programs in climate change, youth engagement, and private sector collaboration.
    • Provide strategic guidance to program and operations teams to ensure excellence and compliance.
    • Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity within CARE Cambodia.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in establishing social enterprises or market-based programs with measurable impact.
  • Expertise in engaging diverse stakeholders, including the private sector and securing funding from non-traditional sources.
  • Strong understanding of Cambodia’s political, social, and economic landscape.
  • Demonstrated success in leading multi-cultural teams and navigating complex organizational structures.
  • Fluency in English and Khmer is required.
