The opportunity

Palladium Asia-Pacific (APAC) is seeking Expressions of Interest from an international development safeguards specialist for a short-term, part-time consulting engagement (approx. 2 days per week for up to 6 months, or equivalent as negotiated) to assist in the review and development of resources and guidance to further bolster our safeguarding capability.

Activities will include, but are not limited to:

• Contribute to a review of our company safeguarding policy framework.
• Development of posters and other materials as required to raise awareness of acceptable and unacceptable behaviour of Palladium representatives, and how to report, for internal and community purposes.
• Review and update the template Safeguard Plan for projects to use at start-up and for annual review.
• Assisting in developing APAC-specific procedures on safeguards management (planning, prevention, awareness, and culture).
• Develop and assist in delivery of training for APAC corporate and project personnel.
• Consult with projects to develop adaptable training guides and slides to support local-level safeguards training.
• Other emerging requirements identified in the course of this work, as agreed with the Assurance team.
