Our organisation previous Name was “ANUPAM RURAL DEVELOPMENT ORGANISATION (R)” registered in 2007-08. But up to 2016 we do not do any activities. At the same time I was working in field Disability. When I joined in 2017. We have done amendment of bylaw and organisation name were changed in name of SANKALPA Vikalchetanar Shikashanika Mattu Grameenabhiruddhi Smasthe (R).
Presently “SANKALPA” has been working for economically marginalized people with disabilities. Like Education support unprivileged peoples social security’s services, Education, Rehabilitation, Oral Health and Hygiene and to spread awareness, Mobility Aids and appliances, Skill trainings, guidance, job redness program, provision of pension, unique Disability Identity Cards (UDID), organized and created disability awareness service for students and young peoples. Also imparted input to target families about environment, livelihood and self- employment opportunities, guidance and support etc.
“SANKALAP” registered 80G & 12AA, NITI Ayoga in Govt portal and National Trust Act. It has been striving hard to create an enabling environment for CWSN (Children with Special Need) and working for creating a better world for the especially abled through education, Livelihood, Self employment, Advocacy and their entitlements. It is also working closely with many organizations and builds reputed networks in Davangere District and State for the access to and rights of especially abled as per Disability Act 2016.
